Senate
|
The
senate consists of eight members: three
officers and a representative from each
class. Their duties for the year begin
by providing the entire student body
with schedule cards and secret pals.
They also provide and maintain a school
store and snack and soda machines.
Student body functions are additional
responsibilites of senate members. They
plan parties, pep rallies, senior
nights, spirit weeks, Christmas and
service projects, work days, Valentine's
Day flowers, and youth
support/encouragement. The secret pals
(i.e. Headers/Setters and Rebounders)
during the soccer, volleyball, and
basketball seasons are also organized by
the Senate. These events take place
throughout the year. Major scholarships
of $1,500 - $2,000 are given to two
seniors at the end of the year. |

Pioneer
 |
The Pioneer
yearbook is published each year by a
staff of 10-14 students in grades 10-12.
Students meet one period in school per
week, plus at least 2 hours a week after
school. They work countless late hours
as well as in any spare time they can
find during the school day to meet their
many deadlines. The end product is a 98
page yearbook that comes out at the
beginning of the next school year. To
meet their financial needs, they hold
various fundraisers. They also
participate every year in
World Vision's
30-Hour Famine. |
