VOL 33,
NO. 18
Dear
Parents and Supporters,
In
Revelation 1 the apostle
John said that upon
seeing Jesus he fell
at His feet as though
dead. Do you
live for a Jesus that
causes you to fall to
your knees in worship and
that opens your mouth in
confession of who He
is? Our vision of
Jesus ought to shape our
thoughts, our attitudes,
our treatment of others,
and our entire
lifestyle. God said
in Isaiah 45:23, By
myself I have sworn, my
mouth has uttered in all
integrity a word that
will not be revoked:
Before me every knee will
bow; by me every tongue
will swear.
If we can just grasp the
meaning of whom Jesus is
and what He did as Paul
shares in Philippians
2:5-11, it will influence
every area of our lives
as we live them out for
God. Meditate on
this familiar passage;
make it part of who you
are and it will make your
knees bow and your tongue
confess that Jesus is
indeed our Savior
King! Your
attitude should be the
same as that of Christ
Jesus: who being in very
nature God, did not
consider equality with
God something to be
grasped, but made himself
nothing, taking the very
nature of a servant,
being made in human
likeness. And being
found in appearance as a
man he humbled himself
and became obedient to
deatheven death on
a cross! Therefore
God exalted him to the
highest place and gave
him the name that is
above every name, that at
the name of Jesus every
knee should bow, in
heaven and on earth and
under the earth, and
every tongue confess that
Jesus Christ is Lord, to
the glory of the Father.
How does your vision of
Jesus influence your
life?
Sincerely,
Larry
J. Crossgrove
Principal
